Subject : Requesting Recurring Contributions to the Kalari Heritage and Charitable Trust - regarding.
In its quest to restore, reform, document and educate Tamil folk performing arts such as Koothu, Tholpavai Nizhal koothu (Shadow Puppetry), Marapavai koothu (Marionette Puppetry) by carrying forward the art form heritage in its pristine state to the next generation, without compromising its originality and to provide educational support to the youngsters from the artists fraternity and livelihood and healthcare support to senior performing artists, Kalari heritage and charitable trust has been striving hard in the field for the the past twenty years for the upliftment of the community of performing artists.
In order to strategise and continue its quest with performing art forms and its society, the trust has to function in a sustainable manner, for which regular and recurring contributions seem inevitable. Hence friends of the trust and enthusiasts of performing arts are hereby kindly requested to express interest and consent to contribute annually, a sum of money, as much as they can, on a particular date every year and there on to continue to contribute to the trust.
